BYE BYE ! CARSICKNESS!
ProBLEM
In the U.S., over 3 million motion sickness pills are sold monthly. 1/3 passengers suffers from carsickness, and 3% endure severe vomiting.
Approximately 30% of the general population suffers from motion sickness, with women typically more prone to it than men. Dramamine, a common motion sickness medication, sells about 2–3 million doses per month in the United States, while patients treated with dimenhydrinate account for only a small portion of all motion sickness sufferers.

Acceleration (Front-Back) & Rotation (Left-Right) Compensation
Unlike typical NFT PFP projects, SOULDA NFT is more YOU! Once you have a SOUL TAG, a NFT image that matches your Soul Tag will airdrop to you while minting. For example, if you have an introverted SOUL TAG, an introverted image NFT will be delivered to you. SOULDA NFTs have four categories, IS/IN/ES/EN.
WORKING PROTOTYPE in 2018
In 2018, I created a working prototype with ProtoPie to enable multi-device interaction and detect rotation and acceleration.
USER TESTING in 2018
We invited 20 participants to take part in usability testing. By observing their interactions and collecting feedback, we identified key opportunities to optimize the concept and enhance the user experience.
Evolved Wireframe - IN-CAR VERSION
To address different user needs, we provided three modes:
Overlay Mode – Minimizes motion sickness while allowing multitasking.
Full Mode – Offers immersive visuals to ease motion sickness symptoms.
Black Mode – Supports rest and relaxation by reducing visual stimulation.

APP USER TESTING in 2023
In 2023, we initiated a mobile app tailored for commuters, designed to alleviate carsickness through interactive features.
By incorporating visual cues like optical flow and gravity references, we visualized car rotation and acceleration to reduce sensory conflicts and enhance user comfort.
WIREFRAME
Two modes designed for different scenarios:
Pure Mode (Relief) – Full-screen visual therapy combined with breathing practice to help relieve motion sickness.
Overlay Mode (Prevent) – An overlay visual displayed on top of the browsing screen to prevent motion sickness.

ROUND2_USER TESTING in 2023
As shown in the video, commuters experienced Overlay Mode and Pure Mode in both car and metro environments.
